The desktop install of Office 365 now uses SVG format icons on the Office ribbon (while I'm not sure if it's fully rolled out, I can certainly see it on a copy of Word which is updated on the monthly channel).
I can't find any guidelines for developers about this change. Or any guidelines on how to use SVG icons in the Office ribbon (if developers want to preserve the same look of the official icons in their Office add-in with custom icons). The current icons guide does not yet cover SVG https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/design/add-in-icons
Does anything exist? If not, will anything be published soon?
