Certificate generated by Java "keytool"

Hi Everybody,

I have created a certificate using Java “keytool” utility, that is self-issued and self-signed – with the extension *.cer.

I have imported that certificate using windows certmgr.exe tool to the windows stores, both “Personal” and “Trusted Root Certification Authorities”.

I want to use it with the MS Outlook, but when I go to the “Outlook Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings…/E-mail Security/Settings…/Choose…” I can’t see my certificate – why – what am I doing wrong?.
